Lots of people have told me that I should try and get her into modeling. I just don't know about that. I know I wouldn't turn into one of those sick and psycho pageant moms, but I still feel weird about it. Any little bit of money I could put away for her college right now would be a good investment.
Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Cheraya definitely has the personality to be a child model/actress and she is gorgeous.
Some kids make a lot and, as you say, every bit going towards the college fund helps. However, she is already at an age where you would probably have to invest quite a bit up front in pictures (between $500-1000 when all is said and done). Also, it will mean quite a bit of running around for you, taking her to auditions and bookings.
There are a lot of web sites which offer more comprehensive advice on this topic. It is definitely one of those decisions you don't want to make lightly.
